An independent Singapore-first initiative
SmokeFree.SG advocates a gradual increase in Singapore's tobacco legal age through its Target 28 proposal, cleaner shared air, and support for people who want to quit. It is not a government website, an official vote, or a healthcare provider. Its aspirations are not guarantees of health outcomes or proof that a policy has been adopted.
The site's existing campaign credits describe a family collaboration with three co-founders:
- T Berker Dundar: idea and technical support, server support, website planning and campaign direction.
- Shin Berkin Dundar: technology and idea support.
- Shon Beren Dundar: website and function implementation with AI support.
These are the roles already published in the credits, which remain available in the footer. They are not claims of medical or legal qualifications, institutional endorsement or government affiliation. The footer also identifies Fast Moose hosting and Webz Fusion digital-marketing support.
Why publish guides as well as a proposal?
A reader should be able to understand current rules, find an official reporting route or explore quit support without signing a campaign. Our practical guides are intended to make those decisions easier. We distinguish a source's findings from our interpretation and from a change we would like policymakers to consider.
How to assess our content
Guides link to official agencies and identify the date on which their sources were checked. They disclose AI-assisted drafting. A source check is not independent clinical, legal or native-language certification. English guides are not presented as translated editions until counterparts have been prepared and reviewed.
Research statistics must be read with their year, population and limitations. Historic policy documents are not automatically current instructions. When a claim concerns present law or a service, readers should use the linked authority's current information. Our research directory and corrections policy explain the broader source trail.
Independence and privacy
We do not accept tobacco- or vaping-industry sponsorship. Our funding policy applies regardless of any future advertising arrangement. Advertising is currently disabled; preparation for a review is not Google approval. We do not give advertisers access to private supporter records.
The campaign permits Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents aged 15 and above to submit a non-binding statement of support, using email verification. We do not collect full or partial NRIC or FIN numbers. Participation is optional, personal details are not published, and supporters can request withdrawal. Read the privacy policy and support statement before participating.
Contact and corrections
Contact support@smokefree.sg for questions, corrections, data-protection requests or concerns about the site. For a correction, identify the page, the disputed statement and any relevant official source. Do not email identity numbers, medical records or another person's private information. This address is a campaign contact, not an emergency or government enforcement service.
